Remote Start

Hi,

 

Getting a remote starter installed, on a 05 Silverado 4.8l V8. In the past when using a remote starter I would get into truck and try to start, big mistake. Does the computer on the 05+ let you (try to) start the truck again? I had a 06 Dodge Charger and if it was already started and you turn the key again it would not do anything. Would my 05 Silverado do the same thing or would it make the loud noise? (sorry for the lack of tech speak, for the loud noise, but brain not working at all today )
