Socom Confrontation

I was waiting patiently for this game to come out and just found out it was released on the 14th. I saw it is only a multiplayer game, is this true? Meaning you cannot play the computer's AI like the previous games?

 

Also heard it has problems playing on line, but pathces were recently made. Does anyone have this game and waht do you think about it? Is it worth buying it?

I'm an avid Socom fan.

 

1. it is multi player only, online of course

2. Its running alright, but yes they have about a patch a week right now.

3. Lag isn't bad. Right now I'm running on 768 kbps DSL and it rarely lags, but I'm upgrading today. I want broad band but can't justify it for occasional gaming and forum browsing.

 

Just because there's no single player or AI doesn't mean it isn't fun as hell, because it is! Even if your not good you can start out playing infinite re spawns.
