Man! Sorry you feel that way. I absolutely love my 07. Maybe you got a lemon. It happens every now and then with everyone, but I know if I had as many issues as you are complaining about, I would have it in the dealership. I have a little over 20,000 miles on mine and it hasn't been to the dealer much, but if I have a rattle anywhere it shouldn't be, my dealer knows about it and has fixed it.

Have you talked to your dealer? I would think they would want to get the issues fixed, especially if it's a lease that they are going to try to get you into another vehicle when you turn it in.

Good luck!

Man, I am sure sorry to hear about your problems, that sucks. I can honestly say I haven't had too many gripes with mine, in fact I love this truck for how smooth and quiet it is.

I have this noise that occurs after I wash the truck and it freezes, it occurs below 10*, but once I identify it I am sure the dealer will help me out. I live in a cold area :P

You should take these issues up with your dealer.

I still have an 800 truck, and sold my HD like you, to buy this one. I have no regrets at all.

I had a leaking crankshaft position sensor o-ring, and the "wavy" windshield. I have a great dealer, and have been satisfied.

I wish you luck, I am sure you can get your issues resolved.

That stinks...sorry you are unhappy. It does happen, with every brand. They are all the same anymore. Each has their own problems. I personally love my truck. Its been problem free since Day 1, which is less then a year and 7,000 miles ago. They will tend to make more noise in colder climates as the "cost cutting" plastics expand/shrink.

No issues here with my '07,I have just under 15,000 miles on it.

It took 10 minutes and the loss of uncounted numbers of brain cells to read that post. Maybe we are beginning to see the root of the problem?

I thought that these new style trucks ('07-'08) are supposed to be better than the old style ones. So far, I don't think they're much better. I am already getting sick of all the small stuff that is going on. I thought that my old 2003 2500HD 4X4 was bad, but now I wished that I kept it. I think it was much more quiet than the new one. As some have said, now that it's getting colder my passenger side door (or something else) is making a hell of a racket. It's just starting to get cold, and these noised started at temps around 50 or so and then get worse! I turn up the radio half way and can still hear it! The fuel pump, or something else, is making a lot more sound at slow speeds than it should. The windshield inside fogs/freezes over all the time now (don't know why) and now there is the recall on the heated washer. Oh, and is it me or do all the windows in these trucks rattle? I know there is something more I have forgotten. Is it just me or are you other people having the same crap going on with your trucks? I can't believe that a $34,000-$35,000 truck should be this bad! Mine is an '07 1500 ext. cab LT2, black on black. It was just what i wanted and it was hard to find around here, but now I have second thoughts about wanting this truck. The funny thing is that last fall, winter and spring the truck never made a sound. I have had it since Aug. of '07 and it just turned over 6,000 miles. I ended up leasing this truck and thought about 10 months ago I would end up buying it, but I don't know now! I'm sorry to say that my son's '07 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab sounds better than this truck! Anybody else out there with the same things going on with their trucks? I'm sorry to rant and rave but I just had to say something.

There you go Lloyd :P I cleaned it up a bit for you. As far as your concerns go, I too have noticed a rattling in what sounds to be the front doors. The noise seems to have gotten worse over time (I have about 25K miles on it now) and it's starting to annoy me a bit. I hope that the dealership can accommodate you and solve some of your problems. Good luck!

So far no complaints here. I think my gmt-900 is much better overall than my gmt-800. You should have no problem bringing any of these problems to your dealers attention and let them resolve it for you.

May be I can give you guys with the door rattle noise a place to go and check.... Mine Had the rattle when I bought it used a few months ago. The rattle was getting worse and I started to notice paint being removed from the door edges. :P I started looking at everything that held the doors to the truck. Mine is a crew cab. What I found was the three bolts on each hinge was loose. Not really loose but I was able to make two full turns with a box end wrench. This did not stop the rattle. It persisted until I found the torx head screws in the driver side door that holds the latch to the door. They almost fell out. Needless to say I bought a bottle of GM red Locktite and a set of Torx drivers and remedied the situation. Also while on this quest to stop the "rattle" I noticed that the driver side doors, did not have all of the rubber pieces that the passenger side did. I've spent about 40 dollars on rubbers. I said rubber. You mention that there is a considerable temp difference on the passenger side; look at the bottom of the doors and see if the "W" rubber strip is in place, this strip stops air from coming in the cab. This was one of the pieces I was missing. I now have an intermittent rattle from the back driver side door.

As do you, sir! :D:rant:

Ditch the period, add a comma, and a lower case "y"
