Anyone Watch The Dodge Ram Challenge?

Just got done watching this. i wish they would show what the trucks looked like after going thru the course. they never showed a front view of the truck after all those jumps. surprised that the bumpers werent ripped off. a saw a few flat tires coming across the finish line. its kind of a joke.

if you watch carefully, you can see the trucks with the bent front bumpers they are all messed up. I thought it was pretty cool how they completely get to romp on the trucks.

 

I would love to be able to jump a new truck like that without having to worry about anything.

If it where a true challenge, then they should be going against GM, Ford, Toyota, and Nissan trucks. The new Dodge is a good looking truck and appears to be a nice package. Only time will tell how good it really is. I will still take my GMC any day.

Maybe they did originally try it with the competitors' trucks but after the outcome decided not to include the footage in their video? Would be an interesting competition for full size trucks. Which one would come out with the least damage>

I saw that too and went wft where's the challenge. Just beating on a bunch of Dodges around a course isn't a challenge. Where's all the other brands to actually challenge. IMO lame commercial.

+1 I get to do that sometimes at these "Ride & Drives" that GM has for us employees,Got to beat on some new Traverse's a few weeks ago (As much as you can can beat a crossover SUV )

The best though was back in '04,when I went on a ride & drive for the new "C6" Corvette,Man we beat the snot outta' them things!!!

The other "3 competitors"? Are you separating GM into GMC and Chevrolet? If so, that would explain why you said 3. (GMC, Chev & Ford)

 

Oh, maybe I am now catching on. Surely you were not implying that Tojo or Datsoon offered a viable competitive product in this market area???
