Now that I finally hit the 3000 post count, I was thinking that it might be a good idea to see why all the members joined. I remember that I googled something about trucks, and the site was there. I curiously went about reading some of the topics when, low and behold, I clicked on a thread that said I had to be a member to access this material. Well, here I am.

I was looking for info on removing the speed limiter and handheld tuners. I found this site via Google. When I tried to do a search, though, I was told that I "had to be logged in to use that feature." So, I registered and did some searches. I have no clue what my first thread or first post was, though...

I was trying to troubleshoot a problem with my '02 truck. Lots of googling let me here, but I still couldn't find a direct answer to my question without creating an account, logging in, and trying to start a new thread. No one ever replied to it, but I ended up trading that one in for my '08. So then I did the formal introduction and I've been doing this instead of work since.

For me, I liked this website the best (layout and design + accessible information). I like a lot more going on than just a Red-and-Black website like the other 2.

Actually I joined because I had just bought an 02 Yukon XL and was preparing it for towing a pretty large camper. I was looking for some good info and a some help in spending my money.
