Does anybody know where I can find the black inserts that go into the boots. They're not exactly very durable as both of mine are ripped and worn. I would like to replace them if I can. I can't seem to find them online anywhere and was thinking that someone on here may be able to help.

Great boots. I have a pair and they are by far the most comfortable work boots I have ever worn.

Your best bet is to give them a call and ask. I just searched for 10 minutes and came up with nothing, anywhere.

Wish I had better info.

Man, I am wondering if these boots are better than the ones that I am currently wearing... I have been buying the Vasque boots that they sell at Dick Sporting Goods and I am buying like 2 pairs at a time to rotate them a little and I like them cause being a Landscaper there are times that we do a lot of walking!

I am looking at them now and they are looking to be about $100... Which is cheaper than what I have been buying at Dicks. Those Vasques are like $180 and thats a lot of money for a boot that doesnt last but 4-5 months...

I wear the Magnum waterproof tac boots. They are very light weight, and waterproof. But i always use plastic shopping bags as inserts in my boots when there is snow on the ground, it's guarnteed to keep your feet dry!

i bought a pair of CAT boots a couple weeks ago

I hope they last better for you then my last couple of pairs. I don't think either pair made it a month before they were falling apart.

I wear Red Wing 1263 boots, probably most of the time haha. They're waterproof, slip resistant, and once broke in are pretty comfortable to wear. I've had this one pair for about 2 years now and the soles still have a bit of useable tread. They're a little torn up from a lot of miles and being brushed against crap, and some cracking from when I was cleaning with muriatic acid (which I won't mess with again, damn mustard gas is what it is)...They were about 180 bucks but well worth it, only about 60 or so to resole them and they're good for a while. My first pair of boots were some crappy Commanders from Wal-mart or some place like that and they lasted about 8 months.

I wear wolverine (Turner) model and they are the best boots ive ever owned. If they came in black id wear em' for work. For work I had a pair of Timberland PR work series and they were great!

I have a pair of Carhartt boots that I got from the farm and home store. I love them. Steel toe and tough as nails.
