I picked this up and scored a deal on it for $2500 at a local stealership. the asking price was $3700. The manager in the end didnt like me much because i wouldnt pay more then $2500 out the door. I held my ground!

Anyway, its a Emerald Green 1996 Z71 (no sticker) with 198,000 on it. I like having a OBS and a NBS now :shakehead:

THESE ARE MY PLANS: Remove, hood scoops, pinstriping, big bowtie sticker, mudflaps, Molding, chrome rockers and eventually get rid of the rims for NNBS wheels :lol: And alot more......

Looks good Kyle, gotta love those REAL bumpers and tow hooks huh?

BTW, you don't own an OBS or a NBS. :shakehead:

OBS = 1999 GMT400, 2007 GMT800

NBS = 1999 GMT800, 2007 GMT900

NNBS = Nonsense.

OBS and NBS are designators for overlap years only. :lol:

(actually, GM prefers the term "Classic" over OBS).

Nice find!! 2500 today for a nice 4x4 is cheap!

Yeah i wasnt going to buy it if it wasnt any more $$$

Great find! I like the idea of getting rid of the hood scoops no doubt. Other than that I think it looks good.

Thanks. The hood scoops might go on my buddie's beater honda!! :shakehead:

Kind of curious, why did you want a 2nd truck?

Well i decided to get this over a snowmobile. This i could mess around with all year. A snowmibile for me would sit all summer, spring, fall and half the winter. 4 wheeler i wanted was going to be too much. Believe me, i weighed my options for a long ass time
