Constantly Correcting

Hello everyone im having some problems with my truck.

I have

1991 gmc sierra 5.0L 4x4

6 months ago i started noticing when im driving i have to constantly be correcting the wheel back and forth to keep straight.. its like any little change in the road sends me back and forth... i used to be able to just hold the wheel straight and i would go straight.

It almost feels like my steering is loose or something and it drives me nuts...

Since the problem started the following things have been replaced

ball joints

brakes

tires

so its definitely none of them.. i've also checked all fluid levels including power steering

i took a look at my tie rod ends and tried to reef on them a bit and they seem solid

any other ideas?

Thanks!

ps i should also mention i made a similar post a long long time ago but the suggestions made were tried and the problem is still there, so im hoping someone else can help :shakehead:

oh and i should also ask.. do i need an alignment after doing the ball joints?

its the idler arm, know for these problems, i had an 88 , replace it with a 1 ton moge version, the 88 still feels tighter than my 2008, the 88 is a better truck to. the sheet metal is almost 2x as thick
