Which system or another idea I dont want something to loud, little louder than stock I have been told the MBRP is loud and the Magnaflow you cant tell the difference it will be going on a 07 GMC yukon.

other suggestions would be great I have a K&N full Cold Air intake I am after the benefits of the power gains. And a slightly better sound

Thanks Guys

MBRP is lesser found around here (on the forums, that is), but I think someone recently got one of their cat-backs. As DV2000NJ said, search the forum for "MBRP" and it should come up.

As for the Magnaflow, you will definitely be able to tell the difference in sound. My friend has a MagnaFlow cat-back on his '04 Tahoe Z71, which would be the exact same MagnaFlow cat-back if you were to get one. It's pretty laid back under normal use, but it still makes its presence known with a nice deep sound. When you open it up, it'll be moderately loud but remain nice and clean sounding, unlike most cat-backs for trucks. Surprisingly there's minimal drone in his Tahoe, too (less than my K1500, which also has a SRSE MagnaFlow cat-back). I highly suggest the MagnaFlow if you want a quality sound and an exhaust that actually allows more flow.

I just put the XP series on my '04 Z71 with the 5.3. If you want just slightly louder than stock I would suggest you look at something other than the MBRP. I have to admit it is a lot louder than I had planned but not so much that I am not happy with the result. It actually is getting more mild

now. The first two days it had a real hard raspy sound that has since gone away which is a good thing. I don't know if that is normal but it now has the tone I was searching for. I think I would have been more upset if I had spent the $400 and got an exhaust that I couldn't hear and couldn't tell was there. I also have a K&N intake and now am looking for a programer to take advantage of the upgrades I have made. I do notice that from a complete stop my truck doesn't hesitate like it used to.

Just my $.02.
