Acdelco Fuel Pump

I went to ACDelco's site and put in my VIN to find out which fuel pump I need. It told me MU149 for my 2000 Yukon Denali SUV. I found the part on Ebay. It has what I think is called a broadcast code stamped on top of it "GFT"

 

I drop the tank and pull the old pump out, and it has "GFU" stamped on it. It is substantially smaller than the one I bought.

 

It's the same part number (MU149), so what is the difference?

 

I just ordered a MU149 GFU. Maybe the other one will work on my Silverado.
