Final Wash/detail Before Winter - Peekturs!

It was warm as hell today (65), so I decided to wash up the truck and give it a mini detail before it gets too nasty this week. It's so nice to be able to just attack the rocker panels with the pressure washer, it makes getting the mud off 100x easier. The truck was freaking filthy though, the wheels had about 1/4" of brake dust built up on them, .

 

As soon as I left to take picture though, it started to drizzle so I thought I was screwed, but it stopped pretty quick (awesome story, I know ). My picture-taking spot is a parking lot behind a business complex that hasn't been in use for about 5 years, but is still maintained (I think it's for rent). Well, I've never known whether I was allowed back there, but there were no 'stay the hell out' signs anywhere, so I figured it was alright. While I was taking picture, I see a cop car swing around from behind a building, and make a b-line straight towards me. He was cool though, he said I wasn't really supposed to be there, but I wasn't doing anything wrong, so he didn't really care. When he was driving away he also said "nice truck", which I thought was pretty cool, since most of the cops around here are on a constant power trip.

 

On to the pictures (for some reason I took a ton from behind ). Wow, that sounds bad.

 

Stupid point-and-shoot camera focused too high up, but that'll be fixed with a DSLR this Christmas.

Thanks. And I wish I could tint it, but NJ doesn't allow any tint on the front winders. The cops around here are freaking strict about it too.
