Don't think so. You don't have the depth in your dash & you don't have a Double-DIN opening (unless you want to cut)...

'92 Sonoma

In-dash stereo: 5-3/4" depth; Size code CG,E,GC,IR,S,U,UR

'03 Sierra

In-dash stereo: 6-5/16" depth; Size code DD,E

I was just woundering becuse my friend just put an after market cd/radio deck into his 03 and i have been looking for a cd player. On that line dose any one know how hard it is to put an aftermarket cd/radio deck into a truck like mine?

stripping the wires on the aftermarket cd player and stripping the wires on the wiring harness, then twisting them together and electrical taping them. Easy as pie. If you get a cd player and need help with the install shoot me a PM ill help you out. I've installed countless number of cd players for friends. One thing for your truck that you'll probably need is an adaptor mounting plate for your new cd player because they are long, and your dash is compact. You can pick one of these up for probably like $20 at any car audio place

Don't just half-ass it and twist'n'tape the wires together. Use some good quality butt connectors or solder and heat shrink tubing.

There are plugs that allow for the plug in installation available at any car audio store. The S10 kits stick out quite a bit but they do allow you to install a standard style aftermarket radio. The Silverado radio won't work in there.

do you guys really think that any car audio place actually uses heat shrink tubing? i worked at one for about a year and we didn't use them. Ideal situation, hey why not. But really there is no need. After you "twist and tape" you take all the wires together, its solid and the wires don't move so no need to worry

That's precisely why I wire my own shit. Solder, always.

Our shop solders and heat shrinks EVERY electrical connection on EVERY acessory that is installed. Anybody caught shortcutting this process will be sweeping the floors or canned. Quality is not optional at all shops.
