Snow Plows On Your Nnbs 1500's

I have done a search and have only come up with one member.... Does anybody have a NNBS 1500 Ext cab with a plow setup? Please dont bash me with voiding warranty stuff.....{ I work at the dealer ;) } I just have the opportunity to get one dirt cheap and have heard mixed comments. Its a Western Ultra 7'-6" from an 03' Avalanche 1500. Any input is appreciated. Thanks - Jay

I've been strongly considering a plow for my 1500 CC; I figure it shouldn't be too bad as long as you don't leave the plow mounted all the time.

 

Most of the advice I've seen are to put a leveling kit on the front along with a set of timbrens to minimize the sag. With that combo, the truck would probably sit like stock while the plow is mounted.

Sounds ok, should work, might have to make a couple adjustments on the bumper or slots to make it work, but it should be ok..........

 

Obviously you are aware that I believe? unless you have a 3/4 ton it would void the warranty, however, I would recommend if you dont have one, the big trans oil cooler, and the upgraded snow plow prep, or trailer tow package, just to keep the fluids not from burning up components.......

 

Otherwise plow away!
