Backup Camera Question

Have any of you put a Backup Camera on your truck? I have an 01

 

I'm trying to find the best place to install it. The installers mounted right on top of my Tag and it looked like crap... It had a good angle but I wanted a cleaner look. So I moved it to attach to the bottom of the rear bumper next to the receiver hitch (should make it easier to back up to trailers).

 

Does anyone have a better suggestion?

 

Also When backing my boat into the lake with this location destroy the camera by getting it wet?
