Intermediate Shaft Greasing ?

Well my local GM dealer is finally out of the lube kits for the Intermediate steering shafts. I still have the plug and syringe form my last kit I used and am curious if anyone knows what kind of lube came in the syring in the kit. It would be a fairly simple thing to reload the syringe and re-lube the sahft if the right lube was known. Is there any other kind of lube that works satisfactory. Looks like GM Lubriplate but it is probably a different stuff, any Ideas ????

I would simply replace the I-Shaft with the one from Dorman

When I was looking at this a while back, I found that some folks on the Diesel Place forum were using a grease made Schaffers(sp?). I just replaced it with the "new" shaft(part 19153614) - been fine for about 10K miles - we'll see.
