I am only replying to this because I think that there was a guy that was gathering statistics about vehicle reliability a few months ago. Not sure if this would help if you talked to him

My wife has had mutiple problems with hers. She has a white 2004 Yukon Denali. Top end replaced under warranty at 30,000 miles, u-joints at 60,000, seats go forward when trying to go backwards, evap problems where it was vapor locking trying to fill the gas tank, rear wiper motor fried, and a few other small things. This is a well taken care of vehicle too.

ANY MORE YUKON PEOPLE THAN JUST ONE WHO OWN A 2004 GMC YUKON DENALI?

I have a 2006 Denali XL. Yesterday, the transmission appears to be slipping or vibrating between 45-50 MPH. It soundsl ike running over those rumblestrips on the side of the road. If you press the gas harder, it up-shifts out of second and runs fine. I am going to take it to the dealer tomorrow. I bought it Certified used, it has 40K on it. All highway miles, no towing or anything. I am going to be severly pissed if they say that the 5 year / 100,000mi powertrain warranty dosen't apply. I am preparing myself for the drama already. We will see.
