Nbs Off Road Bumper

Has anybody come across any aftermarket replacement bumpers for the nbs 1500 silverado? I see Ali Arc has some, but I'm not so hot on the looks, or the aluminum. I'm not just looking for a little bull bar, I'm waiting to hear back from road armor to see if they have anything in the mix. Anyways, let me know, I hope I'm not the only one interested. Ps, sorry if this topic has been covered, tried searching, but I'm working from my phone so I'm limited to what I can do. Thanks Dave

let me know if you get a new bumper i need a new chrome piece in the middle. Might want to buy yours from you.

I emailed ARB and they said they hope to have a bull bar for the NBS trucks by late '09.

I know there are a few companies out there making full replacement bumpers for the GMT900 trucks. The only one I can think of right now is Ranch Hand, but there are better looking ones out there.

fab fours have nice ones but its only for HD versions.. you can check if they planning to introduce anything for 1500

It is my understanding that most bumper mfgs. dont make one for the 1/2 ton's because of the weight.

 

They say it is too much for the front suspension, especially crew cabs.

BUCKSTOP makes them:

 

Chevy = they have them for 1/2 ton and HD models

 

GMC = no 1/2 tons, HD only

 

I hope they have a GMC 1/2 ton in development, I really like their Outback model.

Talked to road armor, they have a bumper designed for the 2007-2009 chev silverado 1500. It looks just like the chevy HD models, except the mounting locations are different for front and rear. The only thing I don't like about the road armor bumpers is the ridiculous price. But, they do come ready for winch and lights. Checked out those buckstoo ones, not a big fan, I talked to the dealer for road armor canada today, and he said check out www.toughcountry.com he tells me they make some solid bumpers, so you guys can check that out too, I don't think they look as wild as the road armor, but the price is a little easier to swallow. (I think he said around 1000 cheaper for the base model when compared to road armor). When I get a chance ill post the .pdf file I got of the bumpers for 1500

I found this one all I found was one for the 2500 series, I didnt think to look if you had a 1500 or 2500 series truck but alot of the tractor trailer rigs around here are running these bumpers on their rigs to help with moose and deer collisions but heres the link http://www.herd.com/product_brochures/chev...roLT%202007.pdf

This Place has the best stuff IMHO. I Know the pics are of the HD, but they make all of these for the 1500's also. ---Edit---Found a couple more pics of a 1500 also
