Led Amber Light Fitment Suggestions

Looking to install a set of LED amber flashing lamps (with wig-wag flasher) in the two openings just above the front license plates. It appears to be roughly 1" x 5". Has anyone installed them in their trucks - tow trucks, service trucks, etc.? If so, could you recommend a brand?

The 5" width gives you lots of space, but the height doesn't. Depending on whether you need any sort of off-axis warning the Whelen LIN4 would be a good choice, or any of the other brands that are essentially copies. Pricing on Whelen products has gotten MUCH better over the years so you wouldn't be looking at a whole lot for a pair, just over a hundred bucks. They are backed with a good warranty and are a reliable performer. Here's a link to get you started, hope this helps.

Oh I forgot to mention! LEDs these days typically do not need a flasher. They all have built-in selectable flash patterns, and a sync wire that you connect together and they will automatically wig-wag. Very cool.
