Saturn Vue Lift Kit?

My wife has the '06 Vue w/ 6 cyl. AWD. She mentioned something about wishing it looked a little meaner cause she loves it and plans on keeping it and is a country girl at heart. It already pushes around 250hp I think with good torque because of the AWD. I don't think bigger tires would pull the power down too much. Has anybody heard of lifting these a little and putting some meaty tires on? I would rather do that for her as to have her trade it in for a new pickup, lol.

Not too familiar with the suspension set-up, but I am sure they use a coil-over in the front, and coil springs in the rear. I think it has a indy-rear. Anyway, there isn't a market for lifted Vue's so your only bet would be to have a machine shop make some spacers. Even that would be difficult as it would be totally custom. Also, with the AWD, I am not sure how that will be affected after you lift it. It sounds like it might be more of a pain then its worth...

Thanks for the insight Justin. That's pretty much what I figured. I just thought I would entertain the thought and throw it out there for some discussion.

No problem. I mean, I am sure it could be done and would be cool as you don't see any lifted Vue's around haha.

And the Chevy in your signature, is AWESOME!!!!

Thanks guys, it's a '69 Custom Short Stepside body on a '68 K10 chassis , 327 4-spd, 4:56 ratio, 6" lift and 35s. He was one bad mamma jamma. I sold him last summer though. I need to get me a new toy, lol.
