00 Silverado Recirc Problem

Need help here. My 1 and 2 settings on the recirc do not work. To get any air movement I need to turn on to number 3. This sucks because its t ohot. 2 was perfect. Any ideas whats wrong or what I need to replace?

Mine has the same exact problem. I believe the part is 40 bucks, but I have no idea on what the number is for it.

No you dont have to rip the dash out, I think its on the backside of the cabin air filter.
