Wiper Will Not Shut Off

Wiper won't shut off even after I unplug the switch. Needed to unplug the fuse. What could be the problem? Wiper motor and board was replaced last year. Thanks

Yep, if you unplug the switch from the wiper control board, and it keeps running, then you know it's the wiper control board. Thanks for the update.

Can you just replace the board, and where is it located? I have a '98.

lol mine went out in a big rain storm it sucked... i actually drove right to advanced in the rain and fixed it.... very simple only needed to take out 3 screws and done.. 5 min fix..

 

i fixed it back in may and haven't had a problem since...

Not sure about your '98, anyone know for sure? I'd venture to guess it probably is. Perhaps call up your local NAPA and take a look at one to compare....

It's location is in the wiper motor housing, just like you said. Three screws pop it out, and install the new one. It works perfect. $21.53 was all I paid. You can't go wrong there.
