Richard Petty Driving Experience

I just got a rookie experience as a birthday gift. I have been once before and it was a blast! I am going to try to get in a night session at Charlotte Motor Speedway (never will be Lowes Motor Speedway to me) If any of you ever get a chance you should do it because there is no way it can be described. The hardest part about it is trusting the car to turn at that speed. The instructor said if you want to drive head on into the wall you can, but you can't spin these cars out because they are setup so tight for the classes. The first time you enter the corner you let off the gas because you don't trust the car yet, by the second lap you are accelerating through the turns. This is the best gift you could ever receive or give to a racing fan.

Does anybody know what the requirements (Age, etc.) are to Drive in the Experience. I know you can either ride-along or drive, I'd rather drive. :biggrin:

They've got something similar down here at Pocono.  I'm hoping that some day my wife will surprise me with it.  If not, I guess I'll just have to buy it myself.  It's pretty pricey though.  ? for 3 laps.
