PLANES anyone see any?

This afternoon my gf came over and i could hear jets flying.  Then tonight when i was coming home i got outta my truck looked up and seen 3 flashing lights and could hear jet engines.

Guess its cause im so close to chicago?  

Are these patrols?

They almost have to be patrols because from what is being stated on CNN right now,the FAA is not allowing any kind of comercial flights until at least noon EDT tomorrow.

I went outside to check the mail @ 1:00pm (well after the no commercial flights announcement) . I'm tellin' yall I heard a Jumbo Jet of some sort as soon as I stepped out the door. I saw 2 Air Force jets fly over and they were going in the direction of the Jumbo Jet noise.

 

 

My house is almost directly in the Flight path of Richmond International Airport so I know when the planes go over.

There were still some planes in the air for quite a while after the FAA shutdown.

Jeremy, I'm sure that there will always be something flying near Norfolk.

It could have been our personnel getting in or out of DC

its errie outside.  Almost to quiet.

I am basically in the path of all planes going to ohare airport from the east coast.

Did see a few planes tonight and i think they are transporting supplies,blood, people

Down here in DFW the skys are clear.  The first time ever that I look up and I don't see any kind of plane anywhere.  On my way to work this morning all I saw was one star, bright as can be.

I saw like 4-5 Big helicopters go by, musta been US Coast guard?

I heard planes during the night which is really unusual. We live a long way from anywhere and seldom see or hear planes.

It's my understanding that the military is flying survailance on 40-50 major metropolitan cities right now...
