1986 Astro Van - Looking For Nos Parts

Hi everyone,

 

I have an original 1986 Astro that I believe is a little unusual and now I am planning on restoring it after 20 plus years. It was one of the very first made, is all original and has a factory 5 speed manual transmission with floor shifter. It is a cargo in the back (no side windows), but is a fully loaded passenger version in the front.

 

I am looking for NOS parts that may still be out there, including transmissions, differentials, engines, suspension, all interior, all body, electrical, etc, etc.

 

I am in Florida but will consider parts from any other locations.

P.S. Does anyone know were to get build info on GM vehicles? I wanted to find out how many stick shifts we actually produced and what the code number meant back in 1986?

Take the VIN number to your local Chevy dealer service dept and ask them if the will pull the BUILD SHEET for you.
