Hid's Installed

It was a pita to install! I took the grille off to start then on the pass. side I took the whole air box off and it was pretty easy to change the bulbs. But then the driver side I took the top 2 screws off that holds the light and squezed my hand in there. I had just enough room. Took about a hour and a half. I got 12000k low and high. The kits were off ebay by xenonwholesale88, they were the super slim kits and only 80 bucks with free shipping. I ordered them monday and they were here today! I noticed that those ballests will buzz then they will quieten down or stop buzzing, is that normal? one more thing it really was plug and play

thank you yeah i thought they would be like a dim purple color

12k kills the light output. You just lost all the advantages of having a hid setup.

Not Really. Its still about 2 times the light output of stock halogens, just not as bright as a lower color. I also thought they would be more of a purple color.

HID's buzz. It's just something they do, no worries. My stock HID's have always buzzed in my car and my aftermarket fogs do the same.

Hey, I have been wanting to upgrade to the HID's. I was shocked how cheep they have got....... Did you have to cut any wires??? For the install? or add any?

Thanks, Jbo

no jbo I didnt have to add or cut any wires. Everything plugs together and is really easy to install. The grille was harder to take off than to hook everything up, it couldnt be any simplier and all the plugs fit really tight and they are hard to take back out once there in. All you do is put in the HID bulbs and they have a red and a blue wire on them. Then the ballests plugs into the stock wiring harness were the stock bulbs plug in at and the ballests also have red and blue wires on it and you hook the ballests up to the bulbs. But be sure when you plug the stock wiring harness into the ballests that the yellow wire goes to positive and the black is negative because i hooked the lows up wrong first but then i caught what ive done.

Thank you. I dont appear to be blinding anyone. I havent been flipped off or bright lighted yet. I use to get flipped off and birght lighted even by cops with my stock lights. I was behind a cop last night for about 5 miles and went through a driver check point and the cops were telling me how nice they looked
