Wheel Offset - Big Difference?

Will there be any noticeable difference going from the stock 31mm offset 17" wheel to a

10mm offset aftermarket 20" wheel? (I am mainly concerned with the difference in the offsets)

you have to be careful talking about offsets since the offset is a function of wheel width.

 

No one can answer your question with what you have posted since we do not know the wheel widths you are referring too.

 

I also find it much easier to talk in terms of backspace...

Use that chart.

 

Backspace is the distance from the back of the wheel to the back where the hub mounting surface. So say you have 7" wide wheels with 6" backspace stock. An 8" wide wheel with 6" backspace will stick out 1" further than you have now, OR a 7" wide wheel with 5" backspace will stick out 1" further than you have now.

You should be fine as long both the 10mm offset you posted is positive (didnt know if that was just a dash or minus)

17 x 7.5 = 31mm offset - stock wheel

 

20 x 8.5 = 10mm offset - aftermarket wheel

 

Seems like most AM 20" wheels for the Yukon that I have found are 8.5" wide with 30-33mm offset

The AM 20" wheels I found that I like are 8.5 wide with only 10mm of offset.

Looks like it might be close.
