07 6sp Trans Update

As many know here, I have not been happy with how my 6sp shifts on my early 07 denali. it works great towing, but daily driving, the extreemly short shifting to 4-5-6th was an issue, and NEVER wanting to downshift unless you kept pressing and pressing, then it would and go down 2 gears and take off like a rocket, then back off the throttle, when you just wanted to maintain a speed on a hill. what a pita. it forced me to manually shift it most of the time. not the end of the world, just reporting.

went in for an oil change, and asked for any trans software update, and they said there was one and they put it in. I am happy to report that it now downshifts almost properly, when i ask it to with my foot. yeahhhhhh! it still shortshifts, but comes back out just as easy, and one gear at a time!
