Tranny Issues

New guy from D/FW metroplex,

 

Would anyone out there know why my 98 c1500 ext cab with 163,000+/- miles is giving me tranny troubles??

 

I do understand that my truck has a lot of miles but it just recently started to shift into first with a hard punch. Of course i gave it the royal treatment by performing the tranny service kit, rearend service kit, replaced carrier bearing and replaced all ujoints.

 

Do you guys think that an improver kit from b&m or tci would help???

 

I think it is a pressure or vacuum line issue because no matter what, it always wants to shift into overdrive even while driving as slow as 20mph

Valve body issues, i had that prob with my 94

 

so then replace, rebuild, ???????

 

Who are good companies to use for rebuild????
