Gauge Pods

I did a search on the forum for gauge pods and didn't come up with much, pretty much just the A pillar pods. A Google search didn't come up with much more.

I have a GMT900 and would like to install a pair of 2 1/16" gauges (AeroForce Interceptors) but I would like more options than A pillar pods, anyone have any recommendations? If I have to go with the A pillar, so be it, but more of a last resort. Thanks in advance.

Jegs.com or Summitracing.com will have many options for mounting gages. Most will just be housings that surface mount... but there isn't much more of an option in a GMT900 interior.

Personally, gauge pods look best when mounted on the A-pillar :)

It's usually the easiest and most visible spot. Not always the most attractive.

I didn't ask for your opinion :)

Hey. I was agreeing with you. It's usually the best available spot.

Jeez Jim you didnt even recommend your own Purple Gorrilla

Very Dissappointed

Nope. No gage clusters there... YET! :D

Ya, I went to Parts Gorilla yesterday I think and so far it seems like the Silverado parts are few and far between, but the light housings look competatively priced so I'll keep my eye on that site.

Thanks for looking around over there. Some models aren't very well represented as of yet. We are working on adding to the site every day but it is still very young. Sales are pretty brisk considering how new we are.

I have two of the aeroforce gauges, best bang out there for these. Not much choice as to where to stick them. THey make a whole replacement a pillar in black and then you have to paint it to trrrrrry and match what your factory one is. I actually got one of those attachment pods, was actually for a late model mustang, just needed to heat up and match the curvature a little bit on it. Then found some spray paint that was a pretty close match and thats it. Can see pics of them in my gallery below.
