2003 Silverado Reduced Engine Power

i have a 2003 silverado 1500 4x4 5.3 that overheated due to a busted coolant recovery tank. installed new tank, filled with dex-cool and im getting the reduced engine power and check oil level on the DIC, and no response from the gas pedal. i let it run until warm, oil level is fine, motor sounds fine except for slight miss from being in limp mode. how do i reset it?

Sounds like something you may have to go to the dealer for. Try looking in your owner's manual. It says how to reset the oil life monitor so, it may say something about reduced power mode.
