Latest Addition to the truck

An Interstate battery!  After 3 years, 100K miles, and -8 last night, the AC Delco gave out this morning when I was already running late.  Plus the jumper cables were practically frozen in a coil, so they had to go in the house to thaw till lunch while I took the wife's buggy to work.  Kind of embarassing having to jump the GM off the wife's Pathfinder!    :blush:   More like a Monday than a Wednesday....

Hey, they only last for so long.  Better it happened in your driveway than in the middle of nowhere.

I've gotten to the point where I just replace a battery when I just start THINKING it may be time....I would rather spend a little sooner than have that horrible "click click click" sound show up....always at the worst possible moment.....

Paco, I'm sure that battery gets a real workout in the carpool lane in Atlanta traffic and travelling the dirt road interstates in Alabama.  Driving past this weeks lynching at the Cultural Center on the way to the Chicken Shack, for the roadkill lunch special.  But if I had to drive a F*rd, well I'd probably just brag about the battery too -

My 98 Buick Century has the original Delco Battery with 64K on it and have not had any problems with it so far.
