Interior Light Module Replacement

I just purchased a used 96 K15 Silverado and the dome/courtesy lights are permanently on. They do not turn off regardless of instrument light reostat position, dome on/off switch, or doors open or closed. I am assuming I need to replace the Interior Light Module. I have found it under the dash, but I can't reach it through the dash supports, etc.

Can anyone help me with an easy way to access/change the module or what needs to be removed to reach it?

Well, in case you were wondering, this is how I did it. I used the hook on a coathanger pushed up between the accelerator mounting plate and dash support - a space that you can only get 3 or four fingers through. Then I basically grabbed the wire harness and jerked the module loose. Then I pulled on the wires to get the connector close enough to the opening, then detached the harness. I then spent 20 minutes or so fiddling around trying to get the old module out of the mess so it wouldn't rattle around on me. Then I hooked up the new module and cable-tied it in a new location that is easy to reach. Works like a charm now. If I have to replace it again, it will take about 10 seconds.
