Stock 2007 Vortec Max Dyno

I thought some of you might find this interesting, saw it on PT.net. The truck has a K&N and Magnaflow, stock tune but speed governor removed. TQ was 342 @ the wheels. I really wish the info box wasn't right in the way of the torque, either you can't move it with dyno dynamics or the operator forgot or didn't care. BTW dyno dynamics reads lower than a dyno jet, around the same or higher than a mustang dyno. Their just tuning tools

 

With a good tune it should make 325/362 easy.

Nope. Just know it's a 07 ECSB 3.73 gears and stock 20's.

I saw that thread over there too. It's a 2WD dynoed in 2nd gear. So it's going to make more than the 4x4 models. I really wonder how much power the FIPK and exhaust added. I can't see it being more than 10-12rwhp? It would seem GM's power ratings on the L76 are pretty dead on.

 

I would love to see a dyno overlay of the Vmax vs the 07+ 5.3L's. Might as well add the 6.2L in there.

Yep, probably around 10-15 at the wheels.
