Lift? Level?

So I have been wanting a "real truck" for as long as I can remember. My dad had an Escalade ext. Recently he gave me his ext and took my car to trade in for himself. (He thought I just wanted a truck in general) My dream truck is a Sierra Denali or Silverado 2500HD on a 6" lift, but I am kind of stuck with this truck now. Now I am not complaining that it is a bad truck. It just isn't a "truck" if you know what I mean. Now I know that I will be driving this tuck for a long time and I really want to be "king of the road" but the thing is I don't know what a lifted ext would look like. I can see it looking great, but also looking stupid as hell. I've looked around the internet and the only one I have found was one on like a 12" lift. Way more that I want. I have a smaller budget.

 

I was wondering if anyone had any pics of one....

 

Also I was wondering what you think about a lift / level/ or off road tires on an ext?

 

It is black an currently has stock 17" rims on it so I want to upgrade. Just don't know if I will go with the "bling factor" or the beast look.

 

Also, what is the loudest exhaust system I can put on this truck? I live in NC and I want this truck to be as loud as possible!!!!!!!!!!

The more noise the better! I will buy the exhaust before I buy the rims/lift/whatever...

well if you decide that you only want to level it... i have a set of wheels/tires that would look sick on your truck
