my truck has been making some popping noises in the front end....and i crawled under there today and found the boot torn on the ball joint at the end of the tie rod.....might be the problem...can't tell if the ball joint itself is bad the the boot is def smashed and torn....only had the lift on for about 5 months.....you would think that this wooldn't happen so soon....any suggestions as to where to get a new one cheap?

Did you grease the TRE before/after you installed it? The ones from Fabtech ARE NOT greased, like some others from the factory. Anyway, call them up and tell them your TRE boots are torn/rotted out. They will send you a new set. Got mine in the mail yesterday. Once you replace them, grease those puppies up. I learned this recently when I asked about it. My joints were still fine after about 5 months too. Also if you do this yourself, make sure you tighten your jamb nuts before removing the rod end. You don't want the end turning any when its out, otherwise you will need a new alignment.

No problem. Also, the popping is probably caused by something being loose. I had it too. It occured when making slow turns, while maybe hitting bumps/variations in the road. A lot more when reversing and turning. I too, SWORE it was my Tie Rod ends, but after I re-torqued every bolt, it went away.
