hey guys got a question, 06 sierra z71 5.3 with like 23k on it ,under light to moderate accel sometimes transmission seems to hold gear longer than shift hard into gear and that is with tow/haul off this seems to be happening more often should i bother taking it in to the dealer yet or wait it out????

I would not, I had a similar issue with mine and what ended up happening was I took it back to the dealership, they recalibrated the control module to allow for more slippage and this inconjunction with low trans fluid, burned up my trans. Yours wont probably burn up if you have the correct fluid level but it will increase the wear if the dealership increases the slippage of the trans (to make it less noticable in its shift pattern). I did alot of asking and it was VMAX2007 that suggested that I go in for a Blackbear Tune. I took his recommendation and have never looked back since. I am not trying to turn this into a thread about what tune is better and what is not, just giving my personal experience with my past trans concerns and what fixed the issue to my satisfaction.
