Well, I'm glad to see Dungy got hired today by the Colts.  Now I'll root for them some more.  I like Manning and James, now that they haveone of my two favorite coaches they may be my second favorite team.

Jon Gruden's agent said he will not return to the Raiders after 2002.  There will be no extension signed on his contract.  With this knowledge I wonder if Davis shouldn't go ahead and let him go to Tampa for draft picks.  Iwould hate to see him go, since he is my other favorite coach, but if he gonna be gone definately after the coming yeaar, why not let him go now and something beneficial out of it?

I lived in Baltimore when Irsay moved the Colts out of town in the middle of the night during a snow storm.  This many years later, still not over it!!  I hope they lose every game they play for eternity.  Not that I hold grudges or anything...

In Denver, we owe Irsay a debt of gratitude. If he hadn't been such a despicable owner, John Elway might have played for him, possibly giving the colts 2 more Super Bowl wins.

Thats true..and the sole reason I hated Elway from day one!!! He poor mouthed Baltimore big time....probably shouldnt have been so hard on him...because who would have wanted to play for Irsay.......elway dissed the city itself though....and you know how thos home town feelings are!!!

I'm just making friends all over this place today.....!

A gruden interview was played during JT The Brick's radio show in which he says he'll be there next year and the only one who said he was done was his agent. Hopefully, for the Raiders sake, Al Davis will realize what he has there and pay him similar to other coaches of his caliber.

Problem is that his agent saod this AFTER the press conference that Gruden said that in.  And he said Gruden told him this after the press conference.  Gruden has a habit of never saying anything for sure.  But yes he said he would be back NEXT YEAR.  Then his contract is up, if he is for sure not gonna resign, why not get something out of him now.  You know you're gonna lose him next year, just go ahead and let him go and get some draft picks.

I would love for Davis to give him a big contract and keep him there for years, but I don't thikn it's gonna happen.  Gruden supposedly wants more personnel control, and I don't see Davis giving that up along with alot of money.  Davis is too stubborn to give up both.

I a perfect world Davis would realize what a gem he has in Gruden and give the money and some more control (I don't think it has to be total, just a little more).

Unforunately us long time Raiders fans know that anybody who knows alot is not a real good match with Davis.  Because that threatens Davis' thinking that he knows more than anybody else.
