Well I Pulled The Trigger

After much debate and looking at every truck out there I decided not to buy out my leased '05 Dodge Ram. I pulled the trigger on a steel gray metallic 2009 GMC Sierra SLT All Terrain with ebony leather. $13,500 off sticker plus 2 years of On Star and XM was just too good of deal too pass up. I had the oval side steps and new style bed installed. I'll throw some pics. up tommorrow so hold your fire. :lol:

Anyways, my question is can I add the factory trailer brake controller? It's the one feature I wished it had. I know I can add an aftermarket one but I like to keep a clean look. Thanks in advance.

Oh, and to answer your question...NO. There is too much to be changed to make it feasible.

to elaborate on Roberts Negative comment on the trailer brake, you would have to change wiring, brake master cylinder and all sorts of little stuff. Plus get your dealer to help you program it.

 

 

 

Oh and damn it you took my truck :lol:

Yep they're putting on a step side! :D Sorry it was late and I was half asleep. I meant the new style bed rails. Thanks for the replys and yeah that does sound like way too much work, I'll just go with a good aftermarket unit.

Too bad you couldn't find a deal....I know when I bought mine I had to buy it before April 1 or I'd lose some G.M. incentives so maybe thats why the deals aren't as good. :lol:
