Factory Alarm Inclination Sensor Doesn't Work On Yukon?

I had my wheels/tires stolen and I was going to get an incline sensor and shock sensor for my Yukon. I have the shock sensor installed now, but they told me the inclination sensor will not work with my Yukon. Can someone please confirm that? I think it's odd that it will work on the trucks, but not the Yukon!?!?!??!

It may be the case there is not an "add-on" plug/wire/cable whatever for that sensor (I don't know).

But if this is the case, I should think that a non-factory sensor could be added. You would need a factory wiring diagram and/or someone who is familiar with the wiring in your vehicle.

Yes, I can confirm that if you have auto ride the inclination sensor will not work. Well, more accurately, they are not compatible since the auto ride settles a bit after the ignition is off it would trigger the inclination sensor. I found this out when I wanted to get the inclination sensor installed on my Tahoe. My dealer confirmed with GM engineering that the inclination sensor should not be installed on a vehicle with auto ride.

Sorry, I forgot to check back in on this thread. Although I had no way to confirm it (Thanks, Darin), that was my suspicion.
