Pwr Door Locks And Driver Window Problem

Hello,

 

I have a 2005 Chevy Colorado. I have this problem where suddenly my power door locks will not work and also only my driver side window will not work either. But, my other 3 windows will still work. This problem has come and gone for the last 2-3 months. Its wierd, one day everything works fine, then a week or two later, I have this problem all of a sudden. When I try to use the power door lock button, the truck simply makes a chiming/ding ding noise. I have replaced the fuses but problem persists. I also have a new battery just put in today but still have the problem.

 

any help would be great....

It's sounds like you might have a broken wire between the door and the body of the truck.I would check inside that wire loom,to see if one is broke or frayed.

What about door lock actuators could that be the problem ???
