When I first signed up the board acted normal (for ma, anyway). Now all the replies are condensed into a tree that needs to be expanded individually or each post be set to Standard for that post only.

 

Can I make Linear+ or Standard my default view, again?

Yup...In the upper right corner of the first post in the thread there's an "Options" drop down menu. Click on it, then click on "Standard".

BTW...For what it's worth, it switches to that view on me every time I use Google to search the site.

That happened to me once. I was on Google and saw a link for this site. It clicked it and got that weird tree thing. I don't know why anyone would like it like that.

Ok, I got it. The STANDARD view setting was not sticking in Firefox no matter how many times I selected it.

 

After clearing the cookies and messing with NoScript addon the setting stayed.

Dunno which one fixed it, though. I did both but it didn't take effect until I restarted Firefox.
