First off I have the best wife for hooking my truck up for me while I am gone! Ok on to the good stuff now...

The back bowtie blacked out but left the chrome bordar (the chome tailgate handle is gone as soon as I find a way to color match it!)

Front bowtie blacked out

Just a side shot... the road slants down so it doesnt look compleetly level... cannot wait to take off that front valance!

These shots turned out better bc the truck is actually clean!

Looks awesome Nick! I've been contemplating over that tailgate bowtie for a long time. I'm not a fan of the stock one, but I also don't like the removal of it. Just my opinion. But now that I see yours...DING  If I had a chev, that would be the way to go.

No I didnt do the bowties myself. I wanted the front color matched and the back one off but the wife took it to the shop for me and they talked her into doing the back that way. I didnt like the sounds of it at first be seeing the pictures it looks great IMO! They didnt paint them they did some sort of a costume vinal decal over them then trimed them to fit right. It was kinda expensive I thought (130) for font and back but they cut me a hell of a deal on my leveling kit, tint, subs, amp, and fixed where I crossed a wire on my head unit. So over all these people have done me right!

I like it. Glad to see you left the badges on. Way to be proud of your GM truck. Its so much better to be proud than ashamed and have to debadge it. :D:cheers::lol::thumbs:

Firts of all, the truck looks great. But $130 for vinyl stickers! You can get them on the web for like $12. I painted mine with Krylon Fusion for even less. Oh well. It looks good.

Nick, sorry if this sounds like a novice question, but I'm just getting into the modding thing ... what type of shop did the matching? I'd like to have that done.

I got it done at a place called truck paradice. They merged with another company who does tint and decals. I never thought about the decal things until I saw them wrapping a boat one day when I was in there back in July last year. I am sure you could even go to fast signs or some place like that and have them do for much cheaper. Like I said before the truck side of the shop really hooked me up on the price of everything and didnt charge me for about 300 worth of work... then the tint and decals I got raped on but I still came out ahead in the long run.
