Everything basically went smooth on this mod except for the bolts that where just a little too short for the rear cross member. Have more bolts on the way from RC but a little R&D could solve this mistake.

Maybe just a packaging mistake?

Post some pics of the new stuff. :puke:

hmmmmm..yep, a tad too short for sure, I wouldn't trust those. Maybe they gave you the wrong length bolts for just those two.

I did use some red locktight and have checked them daily with no issues yet. Should have new bolts by tommorrow. RC tech said the bolts will be about 30mm longer.

Crappy! I'd have taken a trip to Lowes or Home Depot......

No bolts this size at my local hardware store. MiliMeter bolt but cannot remember exact size. Definatley not driving higway speeds.

PLUS you need bolts rated for the application. A common bolt at a hardware store might sheer and have horrible consequences. I'd get the correct grade of bolt for sure.

Yeah, their lifts scare me sometimes. With the composite CV spacers, and small diff drops, I just don't know. Although is looks like John has a 2wd so he should be fine.

Correct. 2wd. Its a descent lift for the money. however, waiting on bolts puts a strain on the situation. not to mention I received the bolts today in which the tech at RC said he knew excatly what I was talking about, and they were the wrong bolts. Even sent this same picture i posted here so there was no discrepency

Hopefully your kit will be problem free, but I had one of their earliest 3" kits and I had nothing but problems. Their customer service isn't top notch either.

Its def a nice kit! Looks great too!! Fuggin lift companies....they all suck as far as Customer Service goes. Well, with the exception of BDS. Hear good things about their CS.
