Went to new Braunfels today for a little lunch. Stopped off in Gruene afterwards. It's a great little town full of old world charm, bed and breakfasts, and shops.

It's not that pricey. I think the B&B rooms are a little under 200 bucks. Restaurants aren't that pricey either... Maybe a little higher than your typical chain restaurants but not too bad.

I haven't been there in a couple of years, I'll have to take fiancee there this summer. She's not from around here so it'll be something new. Neat place to visit, I like it better than Fredricksberg.

Great shots Jim. Yes summer is here, took the wife and daughter out to eat in Marble Falls this evening, 98 degrees at 730. Gonna be a scorcher.

Marble Falls is a great destination. Love the lake there. Today was a fluke though. High pressure gave us an unusually hot day... Rest of the week will be highs around 90.
