i have a 2002 hd with 8.1 it burns about a quart per 1000 miles. ihave been told by another owner of a tsb on this. he told me they had to change the intake bolts.i was wondering if anybody had run into this.

IIRC 1qt per 1000 miles is acceptable(per spec).

There is a TSB to change the bolts. The info was removed, so I don't remember the specifics of it. Someone may have it saved and can PM it to 'ya.
