garwar Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Our truck's heater does not kick on until we put the temperature on 80 degrees. Once we kick it down to 79 degrees or lower it kicks off. Does anyone have a clue on what the issue could be?
garwar Posted May 21, 2009 Author Posted May 21, 2009 What's the outside temp? It happens no matter the temp outside. It happens when it is snowing out and when it is over 80 outside. So if it is cold outside we kick it on the 80 to turn it on and can only stand the heat for a while and have to kick it down to 79. Then after a few minutes it starts to get way too cold and we start the process again.
sleblanc63 Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Take the knob off... turn it 180 deg. Re-install...
garwar Posted May 21, 2009 Author Posted May 21, 2009 Take the knob off... turn it 180 deg. Re-install... You know....our luck that would probably be all they would need to do if we took it in and still cost us a lot of mulah!
