Sad News: Busch Series Driver Killed In Crash. A racecar driver has been killed in a local motorcycle crash. Late Thursday night, Busch racecar driver Andy Kirby was killed in the crash on Union Road in White House, Robertson County [Tenn]. The 41-year-old has raced everything from motor cross bikes to late model stock cars and trucks. In addition to his racing career, he was heavily involved in the design of his racecars. Kirby was the NASCAR Winston Racing Series points champion in 1997. He leaves behind a wife and three sons.(Channel 5 site) AND News 2 has learned that a local race car driver was killed in an overnight motorcycle accident. It happened about 11:30 p.m. Thursday night in Robertson County [Tennessee]. Authorities told News 2 that Andy Kirby, Jr. of White House was driving at a high-rate of speed when he lost control on a curve in the road. He slid about 200 feet and hit a tree. Kirby was 39-years-old.(WKRN TV Site), Kirby ran races in the Busch and CTS series
