In the new 09's with bluetooth compatibility....does the audio come out of all FOUR speakers...or just the front TWO ?? Has anyone tried pairing it up with a phone and streaming stereo audio (A2DP) ?? I am looking for something that will work the best with my Iphone. thanks

You might want to check the list of phones that are compatable because I don't think the iphone will work with the GM Bluetooth. I just bought an 09 Sierra with Bluetooth and my phone I had was not compatable so I had to get another phone that would work with the system in my truck. When I update phones in September, I will make sure I get a phone thats on the working phone list.

I can't answer the question if the sound comes out of just the front or all 4 speakers as that really hasn't been an issue with me.

has anyone tried streaming audio from their phone into the truck system via bluetooth???

iphone 3.0 now has A2DP stereo bluetooth capable and it would be cool to not use wires to hear music !!

from what i read there were two diff. onstar modules....the later upadated module is part #20783877.

i cant believe no one with an iphone running OS 3.0 has tried the streaming audio yet?????

I will try it when I get home. I have the new update and 3.0 on my iphone. I will let everyone know how it goes.

However, I have never had any issue using the iphone with the bluetooth system. The question I have is the bluetooth still compatible if I swap out the radio with an aftermarket one?

You'll have to get an aftermarket adapter that allows you to retain OnStar with your aftermarket stereo, but yes it should still work the same.

I too have tried to tie in my Samsung with A2DP to the bluetooth. No luck. GM always seems to be about 3-4 years behind the tech curve. At least we have bluetooth to talk on the phones now!

Has anyone tried an iPhone 3G and the stereo bluetooth in a 2009 truck? I can't find any info on how to. I have phone call capability with bluetooth.

Once again, the Onstar-integrated Bluetooth DOES NOT have support for A2DP or any other form of music playback through the vehicle's audio system. It supports hands-free calling only.
