Is It Possible To Install A Step Side Bed On And Hd 2500?

I saw a 1500 Z71 Silverado, a 1995 model, with a step side bed....I did not think they made them any more.

 

Anyway, that is my absolute favorite body style and I would love to put one on my truck.

 

Anyone done this? I know it would not be cheap, but from what I could see, it looks like a direct bolt on job.

 

I was in a parking lot and the owner and I compared trucks.....length seems to be the same and the rear bumper looks the same too...I dunno

 

Anyway, any help or information would sure be appreciated....what's another few thosand dollars when we are talk about our trucks??

yea I think its possible, They still made stepsides up to the 05 I think. If you have a shortbox just find a stepside box off a 04 silverado . The only thing that you might have to change is the gas filler tube.
