Yet Another Leveling Kit Question

Since Rough Country has changed their design to a 1 piece 2 1/2" kit, does anybody know of a 1 1/2" kit that is still made?

Preferably the design that goes on the bottom of the strut like the RC kit did, I did see a couple that required changing the entire strut (adjustable) and were quite expensive, also I saw a couple that went on top of the strut, I would imagine that design would be harder to install.

I should have jumped on a Rough Country Kit before the design changed, thats what I get for waiting.

I have the 2" Fabtech kit and have no problems with it. They say it is 2" but I think it is more like 1.5" or 1.75". It does not go on the bottom though.

The top strut spacer wouldn't be much harder to install, you remove 3 nuts on the top along with the 2 on the bottom. I know ProComp and ReadyLift don't require you to cut or swap the struts. But they are pricey.

today is your lucky day. Rough Country has the old style kit on ebay.

Thanks, I just ordered it.

I only want to come up 1 1/2" in the front, I would like to keep a very slight rake to the truck (rear slightly higher) and feel like the 1 1/2" will be perfect.

Again, thanks for all of the help.

Better confirm with him that that is definately the adjustable kit. One guy had that pictured but when I asked him he said it was now a 1 piece, 2" kit, even though he still had the 6 pieces posted.

I am in the same boat. I just got around to wanting to order my RC 2in lift, and I would rather have the ajustable and not the single stage lift.

I like the idea of only having one part (less pieces to fail), but also prefer to have the option to adjust if needed. I bought the aluminum kit from a guy on ebay, but I'm not going to put it in for a while though. But when I do I'll let you know how it is.

Call me crazy, but I also dont like the idea that the new part is a plastic resin. There not steel any longer. I just called rough country to confirm.

Well I just got mine from topgunzcustom off ebay for $60 and it is the new rough country kit.

I got mine from topgunz too but that was back in May when they still had the adjustable steel spacer kit. The 1.5" of lift worked quite well on mine, still has a slight rake to it.
